Fresh Seafood at Dananeer.

The Dananeer restaurant, on Naama Bay in Sharm El Sheikh, is located on the second level on the corner near McDonald’s. It overlooks the Movenpick Hotel and faces the sea.

This quiet, clean restaurant features authentic, attractive Egyptian decorations to delight tourists and make locals feel at home.

Despite the lack of employees outside of the restaurant trying to drum up business and drag diners inside, it is still usually busy and oftentimes there is a line outside of the restaurant of people waiting to get in.

Visitors to Sharm and locals are all welcome at Dananeer, including families with children. In addition to being great with children, the waiters are extremely attentive to their guests’ needs and provide prompt, courteous service to all guests.

The Dananeer restaurant serves Egyptian style, fresh seafood. It features a very large, extensive menu with lots of variety and very reasonable prices. Everyone who visits Dananeer is sure to find something to please.

In addition to seafood, Dananeer also serves steaks. The bread served with Danish butter as a starter is sure to please all guests.

For those diners who are looking for something new, the fish of the day and chef’s special will satisfy diners and may introduce them to something they would not normally order. Seafood entrees range from calamari and shrimp to lobster to a platter that features fried fish, calamari, shrimps, mussels, crab, and lobster tails. Meals may be served with risotto or Egyptian rice.

Whatever is ordered, however, diners need to make sure to bring their appetites because the portions are extremely large and filling; they may not need to eat again for the rest of the day.

ive recently been to Dananeer as i did last year and the steak is superb and the lentil soup is to die for i want to try and get the recipe for the soup to create my time in egypt please can you send me the recipe for tehe lrentil soup am definately coming back next year it will be my fourth time now

have been to the dananeer 5 times in 3 years. Everything read on this page is true. Steaks to die for and though i've not tried the seafood it does look fab. Get their before 8 if you don't wana que. We have booked a table from the hotel by fone but may not be to reliable? Going to sharm for 6 time 26 jan 2010. will be back to dananeer!!!!!!
